Russian cbank registers Tatfondbank’s 2.4 bln rbl capital boost
MOSCOW, Jan 24 (PRIME) -- Russia’s central bank has registered a report on the results of a 2.394 billion ruble share issue of Tatfondbank, the regulator said in a statement on Tuesday.
The bank placed 239,394 common shares.
On December 15, 2016, the central bank appointed the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) as the interim administration at Tatfondbank for six months. The regulator also introduced a three-month moratorium on fulfillment of the bank’s liabilities. On January 19, 2017, republic of Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov said the republic and the regulator were still discussing a bailout of Tatfondbank, including the choice of a turnaround manager.
